What are the copper casting processes?

The copper casting process encompasses several primary methods, including sand casting, permanent mold casting, lost wax casting, die casting, and precision casting. I will introduce these methods one by one below:

1. Sand casting: Pour copper liquid into sand to form a mold, and after the copper liquid solidifies, break the sand mold to remove the copper piece.

2. Permanent mold casting: Casting is carried out using prepared metal molds, ensuring the stability of casting shape, size, and surface quality standards in continuous use.

3. Lost wax casting: Reuse polyethylene wax as the prototype material. After the wax mold is made, it is sprinkled with a specific mixture, then copper water is poured in for casting. After cooling, the wax mold can be removed.

4. Die casting: It is a process where liquid or semi-solid metal is pressurized into a mold through a cold chamber or hot chamber under high pressure, and after solidification, a casting of a certain shape is formed.

5. Precision casting: Brass precision casting involves the use of special equipment, such as magnetic pumps, to inject molten copper into molds at a specific speed and through precise control, thereby producing high-precision copper parts.

The above is an introduction to copper casting technology. I hope it is helpful to you. If you have any other questions, please feel free to continue asking.
